C Lazy s Bar Cattle Company was founded in 2019 by Hanna and Asa Steiner. The two are a young married couple with a dream. Asa grew up in an Ag family and knew he wanted to continue that lifestyle himself. Hanna attended Montana State studying animal science and farm and ranch management, with a dream of owning and running her own ranch. C Lazy S Bar is a family brand, handed down to Asa from his grandfather, Clinton Shelhamer. From there, the business started in an apartment in Belgrade, Montana. Hanna and Asa knew they wanted to live on a ranch and raise animals, so they made that dream a reality. They purchased property out in Three Forks and began construction of their home in 2020. As of February, 2021, both only 22 years old, they live on the ranch full time and are helping it to grow every day. It started with a few chickens and a pair of cows and continues to expand. They can't wait to see what their operation becomes and to hopefully hand it down to their future child some day.
